Mt. Lake’s new business to begin churning out pianists

Music has always been a part of Rachelle (Adrian) Splechter’s life, but when she was a junior in high school, she knew she wanted to base her extended education around music therapy. “Lifting people up, connecting with them and watching their brain connect to music is so inspiring to me,” Splechter said. On the same line of thought, she also felt the urge to share her piano-playing talents with others by teaching piano lessons. She and her husband Travis lived out on the east coast for a few years while he was stationed in Washington, D.C., at the Air Force Base. While she was there she taught many students. She said she had up to 13 lessons in one day. When they moved to Arizona, she also taught lessons.
