Frank Charles Wiens (October 13,1931–December 1, 2025) was born in Lustre, Montana, the eldest of six children to Peter and Maria Wiens. After a tragic house fire severely injured his mother when he was nine, Frank took on major responsibilities on the family farm, shaping his lifelong sense of duty and faith. Following a near-fatal horse accident in his youth, he committed his life to Christ. He completed his education at Lustre Bible Academy and Grace Bible Institute and married his high school sweetheart, Ethel Olfert, in 1952. Together they had four children, Judith, James, Glenn and Gary and shared nearly 73 years of marriage. Frank served as a pastor in multiple states and provinces, as well as working as pastor-at-large for the Fellowship of Evangelical Bible Churches, ministering in local churches and internationally with missionaries in over 16 countries. He also served through many practical roles, including counseling, EMT service, farming, and construction. After Ethel suffered a debilitating stroke in 2024, Frank visited her twice daily until her death in 2025. Even in hospice, Frank continued to share his faith with everyone he met. He is survived by three siblings, four children, fourteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 am, December 13, 2025, in Cornerstone Bible Church, Mt. Lake, MN, and streamed online on the church's Facebook and Youtube pages.
