Susan G. Sneer, age 85, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2023 at her home in Eden Prairie, MN. Susan (Sue) was born in Fulda Minnesota on January 18, 1938 to Fred and Esther Penrod. Sue was a graduate of Minnesota State Mankato with a degree in Home Economics. She spent her life being a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Sue was also a loyal, instrumental partner in the family banking business. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, travelling, reading, quilting, sewing, crafting, and had a love of learning. Sue was preceded in death by Fred and Esther Penrod (parents), Fred Penrod (brother) and Marie Sandbo (mother-in-law.) She is survived by her husband James G. Sneer, son Stuart Sneer (Ann Sneer), daughter Jenny Johnson (Trent Shaw), grandchildren Sara Burroughs (Aaron Burroughs), Emily Sieberg (Matt Sieberg), Nicholas Johnson, Benjamin Sneer (Abbigale Sneer), Nathan Johnson (Julia Priem) and great-grandchildren Andrew Sieberg, Elijah Burroughs, and William Sieberg. Sue was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Susan’s Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday April 22, 2023 at 11:00 am. at Wooddale Church in Eden Prairie, MN. Visitation and reception will follow the service. Arrangements are being made by Huber Funeral & Cremation Services Eden Prairie, MN 952-949-4970 huberfunerals.com
